PCB screen printer is a core equipment in the production process of printed circuit boards (PCB). It mainly undertakes two key processes: solder paste printing and character marking, which directly affect the assembly accuracy and product reliability of PCBs. It is widely used in consumer electronics, automotive electronics, medical equipment and other fields.

The equipment is mainly divided into two categories: solder paste printers and character marking equipment. As the core of the front-end SMT process, the solder paste printer accurately deposits solder paste onto PCB pads through a stencil, and is equipped with a visual alignment system to achieve ±0.01mm level positioning, ensuring subsequent placement quality. The character marking equipment is used for printing component numbers, batch information, etc. The mainstream models are inkjet and laser, which replace traditional screen printing and have both flexibility and durability.


Its core advantages are reflected in three aspects: first, high precision. The dual servo drive and CCD visual system ensure that the printing deviation is controlled at the micron level, adapting to the production of high-density PCBs; second, high efficiency. The modular design realizes 5-minute quick changeover, the printing speed can reach 500 times per hour, and the matching automatic feeding system greatly improves production capacity; third, high reliability. The thickened cast iron body and well-known brand core components ensure the stability of 24-hour continuous operation, and the scrap rate can be reduced to below 0.5%.

The performance of the screen printer directly determines the PCB quality. Qualified screen printing must meet the IPC-SM-840 standard, with adhesion ≥95% and temperature resistance ≥260℃. It can not only assist the placement machine in precise positioning, but also simplify maintenance and debugging, enhance PCB protection performance, and realize the full life cycle traceability of products. With the development of electronic component miniaturization, the new generation of screen printers integrates AI algorithms and MES system docking functions, which can predict maintenance needs and remotely diagnose faults, helping intelligent manufacturing upgrades.
